Our tote bags are being lovingly handmade under the Bill Amberg name by expert craftsmen. The leather is pit-tanned in Chesterfield, one of the last remaining pit tanneries in the UK. The manufacturer is a family-run business, made up of a wonderful group of craftsmen who will turn our canvases into The Sling for you to enjoy.

Bill Amberg trained as an apprentice under leather craftsmen in Australia in the 1970s, and it was here that his love for leather was born.

Bill is inspired by the versatility of leather and finding new ways to cut, fold, treat and use the material for new purposes. The Bill Amberg Design studio combines an expert knowledge of leather with a keen sense of craftsmanship and quality. Driven by a vision to create beautiful leather goods, Bill has built a reputation not only for bags and accessories, but also in interior and architectural leatherwork.
