Goldman Sachs

We've been thrilled to work with Goldman Sachs as part of their Community TeamWorks programme for the past seven years to make practical projects possible across our Royal Parks.

620 Goldman Sachs staff have done everything from building fish refuges to planting reed beds in Regent’s Park, painting murals in Greenwich Park, managing lake side habitat in St. James’s Park and restoring park benches in Hyde Park. Such a big impact has been made over 28 project days with huge amounts of enthusiasm and energy form hundreds of Goldman Sachs volunteers.

In 2013, we were offered the opportunity to increase the number of volunteers we could host across the summer from Goldman Sachs. This resulted in 3 days of action with 100 volunteers at each to help us make a huge impact on the Parks we worked in! The volunteers helped in Kensington Gardens to look after the trees and meadow areas, we restored benches and carried out habitat conservation in Hyde Park, and we cleared huge amounts of rhododendron in Bushy Park.

Jonathan Daffron, Goldman Sachs Team Captain, said:

Another great ‘Community Team Works’ day yesterday. My team had a great time and really enjoyed getting outside and giving back. The postcard thank you gift was a really nice touch.”
