Sally Barney

I’m the Head of Major Events for the Foundation and it’s fair to say that our biggest event, the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is my passion at work. Outside of work though it’s definitely horses and countryside life and I’m rarely at home, preferring to spend my time training my horses or tidying the muck heap! 

 Favourite quote? It’s a Chinese proverb: “Those who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt those already doing it”, which I think sums up the ethos of the Foundation quite well. 

My favourite Park? I’ve worked for the Parks for a long time but have never been able to answer the question which is my favourite, as they’re all so different.  If we could just annex a park in Sussex though, so my commute was reduced, life would be perfect!
