I joined the Foundation team as Projects Manager in April 2005 and within days was involved with the launch of a new sports facilities in Regent's Park. I found myself welcoming HRH The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall who unveiled the centre on their first public engagement together!

Things started as they meant to go on and since then I have managed a wealth of fantastic projects from our Deckchair Dreams adventure - which even took the Foundation all the way to Shanghai - to a vital new wetland habitat in Bushy Park, the restoration of drinking fountains across all eight Parks, as well as the installation of the beautiful sculpture Isis which has paved the way to our stunning new education centre in Hyde Park.

My role is so wonderfully diverse thanks to the nature of the Royal Parks and I feel very lucky to be a part of them.

Although every Royal Park is unique, my favourite place in London is by far Richmond Park. I grew up there and discovered all about its wealth of ancient trees and precious wildlife. It feels like London's litte piece of wilderness and hearing the bellow of the stags at dusk during the Autumn rut is magical.
