We are delighted to have the support of ARTEMIS as our official Conservation Partner for St James’s Park.

St James's Park is at the heart of ceremonial London. It is the setting for spectacular pageants, like Trooping the Colour, and is surrounded by some of the country's most famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, St James's Palace and Westminster. Despite having over 16 million annual visitors, St James's Park is a tranquil place. The lake, flower beds, shrubberies and trees provide a unique opportunity for visitors to rest away from the hustle and bustle of London’s centre.

The Conservation Partnership with Artemis will help us to preserve the biodiversity of the West Island which provides sanctuary and habitat to the many bird and duck species resident there from the black swans to the mallards. It will also enable us to plant new wildflower meadows and new reedbeds that will support the lake’s ecology and protect surrounding wildlife.

John Dodd – Founding Partner at Artemis Investment Managers says:

We are delighted to be conservation partners in this project. The work of the Royal Parks in preserving and improving the habitats of St James’s Park will enrich the lives of Londoners and visitors alike.
