I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in 2013 as Development Officer. I work with the fundraising team to raise funds for the Parks through 'in tribute' donations such as bench and tree dedications, ‘in tribute’ donations. I run the Foundation’s Legacy programme and support our Major Donor stewardship and events.

I grew up in the countryside so I have always loved green space, but didn’t think I was going to be surrounded by it when I moved to London! I often hear how much Londoners and visitors alike love the Royal Parks, which inspires and motivates me to keep working to look after them.

My favourite Royal Park is...I can’t decide! I love Greenwich for the view, Richmond for the deer, Regent’s for the flowers and Hyde because it’s home… there’s too many to choose from!

My favourite fact about a Royal Park is...I found out recently that there is a 644 year old Sweet Chestnut in Bushy Park… how amazing is that?! The strength and durability of the wildlife in the Parks never ceases to amaze me.

If I were a creature in the Parks, I would be...I went Hedgehog tracking in The Regent’s Park recently for our conservation project – they were so cute! I found a friendly Hedgehog I named Nigel, if I were a park creature I’d like to be a hedgehog and spend my days snuffling around with Nigel!
