I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in September 2015 as Operations Officer. I ensure that everything at The Lookout runs smoothly and help out with day to day operations across the team.  A key part of my role is supporting the education team with school bookings. I also assist with private hire events and organise the building's facilities. No two days are ever the same!

The best thing about my job is…The Location! Our beautiful eco building is set in the middle of Hyde Park. I also enjoy the variety of my role - from supporting the  exciting range of events and projects that we hold at the LookOut, to spending the afternoon in waders, maintaining reedbeds at Bushey Park. Every day is completely different!

My favourite Royal Park is...Greenwich Park. The view from the Royal Observatory at the top of the hill is one of my favourites.  On a clear day the view over the city is spectacular! Also Hyde Park where we spend most of our time at the LookOut. It’s great stepping off the tube, walking through the park every day and seeing the seasons change.

My favourite fact about a Royal Park is…That your heart rate lowers by 40% when entering the park from the busy city.

If I were a creature in the Parks, I would be...A hedgehog. During our recent hedgehog survey, I learnt that these spiky creatures can travel up to a kilometre each night foraging for food – I admire their dedication with such tiny legs!

If I had a super-power, it would be…The ability to teleport to different places – what a great way to travel the world that would be!
