About Alex Williams

Alex Williams is a film animator and cartoonist based in London and Los Angeles. He was born in 1967, grew up in Notting Hill and was educated at Westminster, Camberwell and Merton College Oxford.

Over the past two decades, Alex has worked as animator, animation director, storyboard artist and character designer on over twenty feature films, including Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Lion King, The Iron Giant and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. He is currently working in Soho on the latest instalment of the Narnia series.

Alex writes and draws the satirical cartoon strip Queen's Counsel, which appears on Thursdays in The Times. His latest books include Lawyers Uncovered - Everything You Always Wanted to Know but Didn't Want to Pay £500 an Hour to Find Out, "101 Ways to Leave the Law", and "101 Uses for a Useless Banker", all published by JR Books.

His cartoons have been featured in numerous publications including The Times, The Tatler and The Guardian, and can be further explored at www.qccartoon.com.
