Artists
Top artists from the worlds of art, drama, illustration, cartoon, fashion design and literature have donated designs for Deckchair Dreams.
Since the launch of the project in 2006, artists, designers and celebrities such as Tracey Emin, Alexander McQueen, Phillip Treacy, Damien Hirst, Sir Peter Blake, Ben Fogle and Quentin Blake have donated deckchair designs inspired by London's Royal Parks.
Deckchairs are also designed from local school children and community groups, as well as an exchange programme between London and Shanghai.
The deckchairs designs are printed onto woven canvases, attached to sustainsable merpauh wood frames to create stunning deckchairs to exhibit and sit on, each summer within the green space of the Royal Parks.
Thank you to Bloomberg and all our deckchair artists who make this project possible. Not only do they help to bring art into the Parks, but they help raise vital funds for our community and education programmes via auctioning original artwork and sales of the deckchairs and tote bags through our online shop.
