Richmond Park
The largest of the capital's eight Royal Parks and the biggest enclosed green space in London, Richmond park is a National Nature Reserve, London's largest Site of Special Scientific Interest and a European Special Area of Conservation.
Richmond Park is home to Pembroke Lodge, the Isabella Plantation, which is a 40 acre woodland garden set within a Victorian woodland plantation planted in the 1830's - it is best known for its evergreen azaleas, which line the ponds and streams and at their peak of flower in late April and early May. As well as 650 roaming Red and Fallow deer, and as you wander through the ancient trees, you may spot their antlers through the bracken.
As the charity for the Royal Parks, we're here to enhance, protect and preserve Richmond Park now and in the future. With your support, we’re able to raise funds for a wide variety of projects from wildlife conservation and landscape restoration, to community sport, education and art – find out more about supporting us here.
