Tiffany Fountain in St James's Park
The Tiffany Fountain sprung to life in 2011 in St James’s Park lake, near Pelican Rock. This 20ft water plume re-creates an historical fountain which was first installed there in 1966.
Situated against the magnificent backdrop of Buckingham Palace, Whitehall and Horse Guards Parade, this stunning fountain is not only beautiful, but also helps aerate this section of the lake.
If you visit the Park after dusk, make sure to walk past this fountain as the jet is illuminated at night in wonderfully vivid colours giving it a truly magical appearance.
This project was part of Tiffany – Across the Water, a programme which has restored and renewed many of the ornamental and drinking fountains across London’s eight Royal Parks.
