Learn

The Royal Parks Foundation Education Centre is a unique, eco-friendly building nestled in an acre of enclosed grounds in the heart of Hyde Park. When your school visits us, you and your students will get to explore the park and learn all about the wildlife that surrounds you.

All our outdoor education sessions are mapped to the National Curriculum and are led by a team of experienced Environmental Educators. They will help your students reconnect with nature by learning about the plants and animals that call Hyde Park home.

The Education Centre is fully accessible and has various DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant features, including wide paths, toilets and a fully fitted sensory room. Our gardens and indoor spaces are practical all year round, whatever the weather, and the two bright and airy ‘discovery’ classrooms can host up to 30 students each. These purpose built spaces mean that students of any age TOtC Quality Badgecan have access to hands-on, practical activities and become comfortable with the process of scientific enquiry.

We also hold a Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge, a national award that recognises high quality educational experiences in a safe environment.
