A year in the Royal Parks

It's a family affair... planting snowdrops
On 22 March, we rolled out the wheelbarrows and handed out the trowels - you put on the gloves on your green fingers to help complete our 100,000 snowdrop challenge!

After a hearty warm up to the music of 'Eye of the Tiger', 300 students from Wetherby Prep School set out on a sponsored walk one chilly morning in Hyde Park to help raise funds to plant 100,000 snowdrops...

Bulbs to brighten up the Serpentine
The day Eugenie planted daffodil bulbs, learnt about the life cycles of plants and identified trees, as part of Green Fingers in the Park, inspired her to get gardening in her own back yard!

Whatever the Weather!
Last week, Giovanna and Sarah braved the cold and wet to help fellow students plant daffodils in Hyde Park so visitors and wildlife can enjoy these beautiful yellow flowers next spring and for many years to come.
