Water Lilies and Wine

We love Empty Classroom Day!
Doing a minibeast safari. Uncovering the creatures that lurk in a pond. Searching a meadow for nature's treasures. Yes it sounds like fun, and yes it was... And all in the name of science!

Hundreds of school children + a healthy dose of enthusiasm + thousands of bluebells = a new wildflower meadow!
To mark the start of spring and the launch of our new programme ‘Green Fingers in the Park’, this week 400 local school children donned wheelbarrows, picked up their tools and got their hands dirty to plant thousands of new native bluebells in Hyde Park.

Mud, sweat but no tears at Bushy Park!
We don't mind getting our hands dirty. In fact, we love it! For the last few years, we've joined the ecology team at the beautiful Bushy Park twice to pull out reeds to clear the Brewhouse water channels to help create a healthy habitat for wildlife.

Getting Headspace for the first time at The LookOut, Hyde Park
On Saturday 4 February, hundreds came to experience meditation in the Parks with Andy Puddicombe of Headspace. We all enjoyed this unique space and went home feeling a bit lighter and peaceful for it.
