Nestled in the middle of Hyde Park, magic is happening! Look hard enough and you will find the Isis Education Centre at the LookOut - the home of the Royal Parks Foundation which is where I have the pleasure of working.

It's a family affair... planting snowdrops
On 22 March, we rolled out the wheelbarrows and handed out the trowels - you put on the gloves on your green fingers to help complete our 100,000 snowdrop challenge!

After a hearty warm up to the music of 'Eye of the Tiger', 300 students from Wetherby Prep School set out on a sponsored walk one chilly morning in Hyde Park to help raise funds to plant 100,000 snowdrops...

Bulbs to brighten up the Serpentine
The day Eugenie planted daffodil bulbs, learnt about the life cycles of plants and identified trees, as part of Green Fingers in the Park, inspired her to get gardening in her own back yard!

Deckchair Dreaming in Greenwich Park
As part of our Deckchair Dreams project, our Events Manager Sally joined a group of senior citizens based at Age UK residences in Woolwich, to take part in an art workshop to create a deckchair design for the Royal Parks, and had a blast!

Hundreds of school children + a healthy dose of enthusiasm + thousands of bluebells = a new wildflower meadow!
To mark the start of spring and the launch of our new programme ‘Green Fingers in the Park’, this week 400 local school children donned wheelbarrows, picked up their tools and got their hands dirty to plant thousands of new native bluebells in Hyde Park.
