We’ve won an award!

On Thursday night we were thrilled to be announced winners of the 2013 Third Sector Excellence Awards for Best Fundraising Event.

The award recognised the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon for its innovative approach to fundraising – during the 2012 event, 268 charities raised more than £3.5m for causes large and small from across the UK, including £380,000 to fund the charitable activities in the Royal Parks themselves.

Of course we’d never have succeeded in achieving this astonishing amount without the hard work, enthusiasm and creativity of our amazing runners who’ve combined training with bake sales, sponsorship, social media campaigns and other innovative ways to raise money for their chosen charity.
