If you’re still in school or college, planning your future career can be both exciting and challenging. What do you want to do? Who do you want to be? There are so many questions to answer and so much to look forward to. One of the best ways to help get the job you really want is to get as much experience as you can. With the new year just beginning it’s a great time to start looking for opportunities to develop yourself and learn new skills.

So why not join our team and gain some work experience with our outdoor education officers. This year we’re hoping to find some enthusiastic young students aged from 14 years and up to join our work experience scheme. Join us and you'll:

  • gain insight into what it’s like to work as an education officer, teaching children about the natural world
  • develop a range of skills, including practical outdoor science, supporting school pupils in their nature studies and learning how to lead small groups
  • find out what lurks in the log pile, what creatures swim in the pond and what wildlife lives in our meadow.
  • have great fun and a great experience!

Find out more about this opportunity and how to apply and see if you are right for the job!
