Located in the south of Hyde Park, the South Carriage Drive Playground provides a special place for local families and visitors to have fun and play in natural surroundings in the heart of London.

However, due to its popularity over the years, the playground has become worn and dated and is now in much need of a refurbishment. We're pleased to say that following a successful application by The Royal Parks to the London Marathon Charitable Trust, they have been granted approximately £125,000 and are now in a position to make these much needed enhancements to this vital space for play.

Have your say

The Royal Parks are asking people to give feedback and in will also be hosting two play workshops to help inspire the designs and to gain feedback from users. Ideas will help shape the design and refurbishment of the playground. Find out more on The Royal Parks website.

Supporting the playground to make it even more exciting

The improvements made possible by the £125,000 funding will make a significant difference to playground visitors, but as a charity we are able to accept more donations and aim to increase the funding to £250,000, if you can help make the playground even better, please contact us on 020 7036 8048 or [email protected].
