I am a huge fan of parks and public spaces and the role green space can play in our lives and it seemed a creative, fun way of engaging. I love the image I have chosen to use as its from one of my garden schemes and is based on a natural prairie style herbaceous border

Chris is a long-standing and regular panel member of BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time, and has been broadcasting for 14 years, on programmes including Gardener's World, The Flying Gardener, and the BBC's Beechgrove Garden. He recently won another Gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2013, as well as the People's Choice Award for his Arthritis Research UK Garden.
