I joined in April 2012 as Marketing Manager to ensure that as many people as possible hear about our charity, our lovely projects and amazing events – and that those who are taking part get the most out of the experience.

There’s never a dull moment here – and the breadth of projects I work across is just phenomenal – from encouraging people to take on our Half Marathon and Ultra, promoting our outdoor education programme, publicising the restoration of the Italian Gardens or the arrival of three young pelicans, to bringing together all the achievements of the charity’s first decade into a lovely report to encourage future supporters to get in touch… and of course getting my hands dirty with reed bed management or scrub clearing on corporate volunteering days.

In my free time, I can be found in my garden, in a yoga or dance studio, on my bike or enjoying a glass of wine and an episode of the West Wing while knitting. I live in Hackney, which probably explains it. With all the running activity in the office I have also cautiously (and perhaps ill-advisedly) begun a ‘couch to 5k’ running programme.

It’s difficult to pick just one favourite Park – they have such different characters. I’d probably pick Hyde Park – it’s the first I remember visiting on a trip to London, and the venue for a concert that found me the love of my life.
