At the Royal Parks Foundation, we all have at least one thing in common – we love The Royal Parks!
Our small charity team includes award-winning fundraisers and event organisers, communication professionals and project managers, plus resident experts on wildlife, education, sustainability and wellbeing.
We’re brought together because we care about the future of the Parks.
With your help, we raise funds for and manage a wide variety of projects, ranging from education, wildlife conservation and landscape restoration, to community sport and art.
Sara Lom
I joined The Royal Parks more than a decade ago and, in May 2003, launched the Royal Parks Foundation with the charity’s first three fantastic Trustees. A decade is a long time - which gives you an idea of how wonderful it is to work in the Parks.

I’m the Head of Major Events for the Foundation and it’s fair to say that events are my passion at work. Outside of work though it’s definitely horses and countryside life and I’m rarely at home.

I joined the team in April 2013. I steer the Royal Parks Foundation's fundraising activity from private, corporate and community donors whilst keeping a keen eye on commercial income generation.

I joined as the Projects Manager in 2005. My role is so wonderfully diverse thanks to the nature of the Royal Parks and I feel very lucky to be a part of them.

I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in November 2013 as Head of Programmes (maternity cover) after 15 years managing programmes in the non-profit cultural sector in the UK and abroad.

Hannah Cottrill
I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in 2004 – I was the first official employee! I’m lucky enough to spend my working day in the heart of Hyde Park and as Senior Administrator, I support the team and work across all sorts of projects.

I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in April 2014. As Commercial Venue Manager I focus on generating income for the charity through hosting a huge range of events at our unique eco venue, The LookOut, located in the middle of Hyde Park.

I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in September 2010. As Projects Manager my days are never boring! I work across many, many projects, looking after our fantastic sporty supporters in Team Squirrel and our younger Chips in the Park athletes.

Alison Dent
I joined the Royal Parks Foundation team in January 2012 as Education Officer. My role is to develop and deliver outdoor education programmes for all ages from our base at the state-of-the-art new Isis Education Centre.

I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in 2013. I work on the fundraising team to raise money for the Parks through bench and tree dedications, legacies and wildlife adoptions, as well as administering the online shop.

From organising corporate volunteer days, acting as communications champion, supporting adhoc projects, from Hedgehog conservation to 'eco-friendly tennis balls' and managing Team Squirrel, our scurry sporty supporters.

As Operations Officer, I have been a member of the Royal Parks Foundation team since May 2014. I have a very versatile role and am relishing the opportunity to contribute towards the fight for urban green spaces.

I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in September 2014. I manage corporate partnerships for the RPF. My role involves managing a portfolio of existing corporate partners and sponsors, as well as recruiting new ones.
