Limelight Sports are the delivery partner of the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon and Ultra. 

The initial idea for the Half Marathon came about whilst team members from the Royal Parks Foundation and Limelight Sports were chatting over a cup of coffee towards the beginning of 2009. Almost exactly nine months later, the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon was born and 8,000 runners took to London’s streets and fabulous green spaces. The Half Marathon has gone from strength to strength, winning awards and critical acclaim along the way.

The Royal Parks Foundation Ultra, a 50km race starting in Hyde Park and finishing in the stunning Bushy Park, was created in 2012 to offer a ‘beyond the marathon’ challenge whilst still embodying the same extremely high standards of Half Marathon.
