Student and Teacher Resource Bank

Examining finds under the microscopeAs part of the fully-funded Inside Outside programme, both teachers and students get access to a password-protected area that contains data and resources to help follow-up the visit.

This private area contains data recorded and stored by pupils during their visit to the Isis Education Centre as well as other useful information to help the class with projects and coursework.

You'll find:

  • Your class data, collected during the visit
  • Climate data for Hyde Park
  • Species lists for Hyde Park
  • Parks history and information
  • Webcam images from the Isis Education Centre
  • Activity worksheets

If you have visited the Isis Education Centre as part of the Inside Outside Programme, you will have been provided with a password that allows you to access this area.

All secondary schools who come on a free visit to the Isis Education Centre will be offered two places at an end of year achievement ceremony to recognise students who have improved the most during the academic year. The achievement ceremony will be held in July and includes:

  • a bat walk
  • moth trapping
  • small mammal survey,
  • cooking over a campfire and an overnight stay (optional).
