I joined the Royal Parks Foundation in September 2010. As Projects Manager my days are never boring!

I work across many, many projects, looking after our fantastic sporty supporters in Team Squirrel, co-ordinating our Winter Wonderland Charity Preview Night, and managing our corporate volunteer days. I’ve become quite a dab hand at restoring benches and railings, planting reed beds, pulling up weedy species and pruning our thousands of trees.

My favourite Royal Park is...Can I have two? Bushy Park is beautiful, it’s the one everyone forgets but is absolutely stunning and is the second largest Royal Park in London. I love the roaming deer and the quirky Woodland Gardens, with so many twists and turns to explore. I also adore St. James’s Park, I used to work nearby and spent many lunch breaks chilling out and enjoying the view to Whitehall from the Blue Bridge, and of course it’s home to the cheeky Pelicans, possibly The Royal Parks most famous inhabitants!

My favourite fact about a Royal Park is...The Longford River in Bushy Park, designed by Nicholas Lane in 1638, was built by hand, took 9 months to complete and cost £4,000 – given it is 19km long, this is incredible!

If I were a creature in the Parks, I would be...Has to be a Mallard Duck, I just think they’re really sweet.

If I had a super-power, it would be…I always wanted to be the Pink Power Ranger.
