I Joined the Royal Parks Foundation as Finance Officer in the Autumn of 2014, after 9 years working at Freeview. I work with the Head of Finance on all things financial and help the wider team as and when needed.

The best thing about my job is…working in such a fabulous eco building in the middle of Hyde Park and finding out about the varied projects we are involved in from a financial perspective.

My favourite Royal Park is…Richmond Park, as I live close by and it is the one I know best. I have spent many happy hours both cycling and walking there. My favourite time to visit is early in the morning, when it is really peaceful. However, all the parks in central London are special because they provide such a haven for everyone to enjoy and escape the stresses and strains of everyday life. I am so pleased to be working for such a wonderful charity which raises money for such an invaluable London resource.

My favourite fact about a Royal Park is...that the Royal Parks Foundation Education Centre, where our office is based has been awarded the Council for Learning ‘Outside the Classroom’s Badge’. This badge is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our enthusiastic and experienced teaching team who have taken inspiration from the magical Royal Parks to design a programme of high quality outdoor learning experiences that children can really benefit from.

If I were a creature in the Parks, I would be...a seagull so that I could fly to the different ponds and lakes in all the parks and also off to the seaside on hot sunny summer days!

If I had a super-power, it would be…to be able to beam myself to each of my holiday destinations, to avoid the hassle and discomfort of airports and flights.
