About the centre

Inspired by its natural surroundings, the roofline of the Isis Education Centre at The LookOut reflects the curve of a tree canopy.

Isis Education Centre at The LookOutCreated with sustainability in mind, the building makes use of natural resources, keeps environmental impact to a minimum and encourages biodiversity. Whether you come to learn, play, explore or relax, the Isis Education Centre at The LookOut, Hyde Park offers a unique and special experience that’ll stay with you for years to come.

Understand and be inspired by nature

Learning at the Isis Education Centre is designed to discover and uncover the natural world. Interactive whiteboards and digital microscopes bring children and grown ups even closer to nature, whilst traditional fishing nets and magnifying glasses still play a vital role.

The most important resources are those found outside. The monstrous jaws of a dragonfly nymph, the sound of a cricket chirping, or the wriggling secrets of the Sunshine Pond will stay with you forever.
