Martha donated a deckchair design to Deckchair Dreams in 2013. She supports the Royal Parks as most of her work is inspired by nature. She told us that having lived in London her whole life she is so grateful to the Royal Parks for all of the beautiful havens they nurture and make available to the public.

About her deckchair design, she said:

My artworks involve imprinting fresh plants into thin sheets of porcelain and illuminating the ceramic. This process allows the viewer to see the plants literally “in a new light” as the forms and textures are highlighted. I used an image of one of these porcelain sheets branded by fallen leaves for the deckchairs canvas.
