Bring Learning to Life
Since we opened our doors five years ago, thousands of school children have benefited from our hands-on wildlife and science sessions. From exploring a sensory wildlife garden, to creating mini beast hotels and meeting the aquatic life in our pond, there is so much to experience and enjoy in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
Many of the children that visit us come from disadvantaged backgrounds or are dealing with special educational needs. Their curiosity to explore and embrace the natural world around them is encouraged by our expert education team.
Once they’re here, children get the chance to learn practical horticultural skills or ways to recognise and care for wildlife. Importantly, they are shown how to interact sensitively with the world around them, enabling every child to grow in confidence
and develop vital independence skills.
With your support, we can provide environmental education to thousands more of London’s inner city children, who currently have little access to green outside space.
Will you help them discover the wonders of nature and the outdoors in the heart of Hyde Park?
